TWiST events (Christchurch, NZ) is working with interested members of the GLBT community to draw together a database of NZ and Australian GLBT community members who are currently or formerly involved in the Creative Industries or training in these areas. The purpose of this database is to enable GLBT groups to more easily contact GLBT specialists when carrying out events specifically for the GLBT community and to encourage the growth in GLBT creative industries.
We are also interested to hear from GLBT people in the local Christchurch area who are interested in training in these areas with a view to participating in local performances.
The database will include people who identify as either gay, lesbian, bisexual, intersex or transgender and who are or have been:
• Actors, comedians, comediennes or other theatrical performers
• Dancers (all styles including exotic)
• Drag Artists
• Circo Artists, gymnasts, cheer squad members or skaters
• Musicians or DJs
• Singers or song writers
• Producers and Directors
• TV or Radio personalities
• MCs or professional speakers

• Caterers or chefs
• Security, front of house or wait staff
• Set builders
